AS we all enter back to the ‘normal ‘ world our cosmetics, especially foundations, will need to be replaced. To ensure that you make the right choice for you here are a few tips from Makeup with Megan.
There are a few factors that come into play when you are choosing the right foundation for you. If you don’t understand your skin that lies under the foundation you will never get the picking perfect.
So let’s get straight into it…
(1) Undertone: There are three classifications for undertones: warm, cool, and neutral. If you have warm undertones, your skin will lean peachy, yellow, or golden. If you have cool undertones, your skin will lean pink, red, or blue. And if you have neutral undertones, your skin will have some mixture of these colours. Still unsure of your undertone…here are a couple easy ways to figure it out.
(a) What colour are your veins? If they look blue/purple, you’re cool-toned. If green, you’re warm-toned. If you have trouble telling, you probably lean neutral.
(b) What colours suit you? If you look best in jewel-tones such as blues, purples, and emerald-greens, you’re cool-toned. If you favour earth-tones such as reds, oranges, yellows, and olive-greens, you’re warm toned. And for you lucky gals who can get away with all the colours, you are neutral.
